New maximum premium regulation in traffic insurance

The maximum premium amounts of those who cannot receive an offer in compulsory traffic insurance will be determined by SEDDK. The maximum premium amounts of those who cannot receive an insurance premium offer within the specified period in compulsory traffic insurance will be determined by the Insurance and Private Pension Regulation and Supervision Board (SEDDK). With the SEDDK’s circular published in the Official Gazette and amending the regulation regarding the tariff application principles in compulsory motor vehicle financial liability insurance, a sentence was added to the article titled “Principles for determining insurance premiums”. Accordingly, SEDDK will be authorized to decide on the inclusion of the vehicles of those who cannot receive an insurance premium offer within the specified period in the Risky Insured Pool, regardless of their risk group, and the maximum premium amounts to be applied to them.
