Increase in highway and bridge tolls

The highway and bridge tolls have been redetermined, effective as of midnight. The tolls of highways and bridges operated by the General Directorate of Highways (KGM) and private companies under Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) have been redetermined, effective as of 00:00 on Wednesday, May 15. With the increase, the toll for automobiles on the 15 July Martyrs and Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridges has been increased from 15 TL to 24 TL. The cheapest toll on the Osmangazi Bridge has increased from 290 TL to 399 TL. The toll on the 1915 Çanakkale Bridge has been increased from 295 TL to 419 TL. The İstanbul Ankara Anatolian Motorway toll fee has become 134 liras, and the İstanbul İzmir Motorway, including the toll on the Osmangazi Bridge, has become 984 liras. The General Directorate of Highways (KGM) had increased the prices of public highways and bridges by 76 percent, and highways and bridges built with the Build-Operate-Transfer model by 5 percent.
