Message from Nebati to combat tax evasion

In a statement he made on his social media account, Nebati thanked the Tax Inspectors of the Tax Inspection Board Presidency and all employees of the Revenue Administration Presidency who had reached the one million target in tax inspections and audits conducted, and said, "We will continue to be in the field as always with tax inspections and audits to combat the informal economy, market-distorting activities, and tax evasion, and we will continue our work with determination." Nebati stated that the aim of tax audits and inspections is not to impose penalties but to increase voluntary tax compliance by providing guidance, to build a fairer tax system by preventing tax loss and evasion, and to protect each citizen by taking into account taxpayer rights.
