Kontrolmatik announced that it will benefit from a $1 billion incentive until 2032 for the battery factory it will establish in the US. Kontrolmatik KONTR.IS received an incentive from the state of South Carolina for the lithium-ion battery factory it will establish in the US. The company announced in a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that the incentive package was finalized yesterday, and that the 3 gigawatt (GW) battery production factory per year will start production in the second half of 2024 and will benefit from a total of $1 billion in incentives until 2032.
