Yapı Kredi decided to issue bonds abroad

Yapı Kredi has decided to issue over $10 billion worth of bonds abroad in one year. According to statements made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) by the bank on Wednesday evening, up to $3 billion of the issuances will consist of green bonds, while up to $7 billion will consist of bonds to be issued under the MTN program. The bank will also be able to issue mortgage-backed securities worth up to €250 million. Up to $1.5 billion of green bond issuances and up to $2 billion of the MTN program will consist of bonds that can be included in the equity calculation. Issuances can be made in other currencies or TL equivalent to the amounts in question.
