Regulation on SCT base for electric cars

The regulation on the Special Consumption Tax base for electric vehicles was published in the Official Gazette. According to the decision published in the Official Gazette, the base limits for electric motor vehicles were increased. For vehicles with an engine power not exceeding 160 kilowatts and a tax rate ranging from 10 to 40 percent, the base was increased from 700 thousand TL to 1.25 million. For electric vehicles with an engine power exceeding 160 kilowatts and a tax rate ranging from 50 to 60 percent, the base was increased from 750 thousand TL to 1.35 million TL.
