EPDK increased the transmission network investment ceiling amount

The "2022 transmission network investment ceiling amount" taken for the approval of the national transmission network investment program of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) and Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ) has been changed to 4 billion 313 million 298 thousand 500 liras. EPDK's decision regarding the transmission network was published in today's Official Gazette. Accordingly, the first article of the board's decision, which was published in the Official Gazette dated March 12, 2022 and entered into force, was changed to "2 billion 590 million 417 thousand liras for the 2022 transmission network investment amount" as "4 billion 313 million 298 thousand 500 liras". In addition, the decision of the Energy Market Regulatory Authority regarding the "Procedures and Principles Regarding Amendments to the Procedures and Principles of Collateral" was published in today's Official Gazette. Accordingly, in the event that there are market participants who do not make their advance payments partially or completely, the underpaid advance amounts will be deducted from the additional collateral that must be provided by market participants who receive their advance receivables incompletely.
