Additional tax on electric vehicles imported from China

An additional customs duty of 40 percent will be applied to electric motor-driven vehicles imported from China. The Presidential Decree on the subject was published in the Official Gazette and entered into force. Accordingly, it was decided to apply an additional customs duty of 40 percent to the import of other vehicles originating from the People's Republic of China, which are classified in the relevant customs tariff statistical position and are solely powered by electric motors.
