Confidence index fell in services sector, rose in retail trade and construction

Accordingly, the seasonally adjusted confidence index decreased by 1 percent in the services sector on a monthly basis in November. The index increased by 2.1 percent in the retail trade sector and 1.2 percent in the construction sector. While the seasonally adjusted service sector confidence index was 119.3 in October, it became 118.1 in November. In the service sector, compared to the previous month, the job situation in the last 3 months has decreased by 2.6 percent and the demand for services has decreased by 2.6 percent in the last 3 months, while the expectation of demand for services in the next 3 months has increased by 1.7 percent. Retail trade sector confidence index While the seasonally adjusted retail trade sector confidence index was 119.4 in October, it increased to 121.9 this month. In the retail trade sector, compared to last month, business volume-sales increased by 2.6 percent in the last 3 months, current goods stock level increased by 1.5 percent, and business volume-sales expectations for the next 3 months increased by 2.2 percent. The seasonally adjusted construction sector confidence index, which was 90.5 last month, became 91.6 this month. In the construction sector, compared to last month, the current level of registered orders received increased by 1.6 percent, and the sub-index for the total number of employees expected for the next 3 months increased by 0.8 percent.
