THY expects a new record in the number of daily passengers and flights

Turkish Airlines (THY) is expected to break a new record with the number of passengers and flights planned today. THY General Manager Bilal Ekşi, in a statement he made on his social media account, noted the following: "Today, for the first time in THY's history, we are exceeding the 300 thousand threshold in daily passenger numbers. We will host over 309 thousand passengers on the 1,765 flights we planned. After returning from the holiday, where we put our full capacity into service, the occupancy rate on domestic lines exceeded 95 percent. Have a blessed and pleasant journey." THY had also broken the daily flight and passenger record by carrying 285,877 passengers on 1,664 flights on June 23 before Eid al-Adha.
